foxinsnow's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cursed In my dream, I was biking north from downtown Chicago back to the northern suburbs where I live. I wasn�t supposed to be there� I had gone that far south by mistake and now was trying to get back home. The highway began to slope downward sharply, and I pulled on my brakes so I wouldn�t lose control. I noticed a terrible accident ahead. I saw ambulances taking people on stretchers away from a bunch of cars all mangled together. Then I noticed *all the dead bodies piled up in mounds*, each covered with an American flag. I began to vomit. Suddenly there were gaps between the lanes� gaps that if you fell through them you�d fall straight down to some pavement far below� and to avoid falling through I had to drive back and forth across dead bodies which were laid out like chessmen-shaped planks between the lanes. Then I did fall� but I pulled myself back up. At this point I prayed to God that this was a dream, and I woke up into a dimly lit apartment. A drug dealer friend of mine, Michael�s, R�s, and K�s who was also in the apartment asked me a question, and I answered as I was on my way to the refrigerator in the dark kitchen. Then I really woke up. The word �malediction� was stamped in my head, even though I didn�t know what it meant. I looked it up. It means a curse.
