I completed the assignment that's due, but I don't think I did a very good job. School isn't so bad... it's still the commute that's quite taxing. But if that's true, then why am I sitting here, having already made the commute, hoping there's no class today? Is that just human nature? Well, now the teacher's here, there's no chance that class will be cancelled today. One thing I hate about driving to school is drving over potholes and other bumps. It just rattles me up so much! Also, I'm trying to quit smoking again. Try doing that when you've just started grad school again after a year off and see how you feel. I'm glad I have this diary, because then I can complain here and not to my friends and family. When you talk to someone-- even just one person-- you have to be aware of your audience. If your audience is the type of person who gives you useless or condescending advice, DON'T TALK TO HIM.
