If you want to read the article, here it is. I think that's a bunch of horse shit. In the article, the author even admits that when feeling down, s/he likes to smoke a bowl and it sends hir from the depths of depression to a blissful mania. S/he uses the word mania. Mania, folks, is part of bipolar disorder, and is just as much of a dangerous state as depression. Moreover, I have had more than one friend who got depressed from smoking too much pot, even if it was just because sitting around all day doing nothing but smoking pot is depressing. I am for legalization of drugs, but against this idea that drugs (including prescription drugs) can't be bad for you even when abused.
